Réunion de validation du Programme Stratégique Régional sur l’Autonomisation des Femmes en Agriculture "Empowering Women in Agriculture (EWA)"

Hôtel King Fahd Palace, du 27 au 28 Avril 2016 : Femmes Africa Solidarité, Coordonateur de l’Initiative EWA, en partenariat avec IFC, membre du Groupe de la Banque mondiale, la Fondation pour le Renforcement des Capacités en Afrique (ACBF), la Banque Africaine de Développement, l’Organisation des Nations unies pour l'alimentation et l'agriculture, et l’ONUfemmes, organisent une Réunion de validation du Programme Stratégique sur l’Autonomisation des Femmes en Agriculture dans les pays pilotes, le Burkina Faso, le Djibouti, l’Ethiopie, le Libéria, le Malawi, le Rwanda, le Sénégal et la Tanzanie.

La réunion est présidée par Son Excellence Chef Olusegun Obasanjo, Ancien Président de la République du Nigéria, en présence de Son Excellence Monsieur Papa Abdoulaye Seck, Ministre de l’Agriculture et de l’Equipement rural, de Son Excellence Mme Bineta Diop, Envoyée Spéciale de la Présidente de la Commission de l’Union Africaine sur les Femmes la Paix et la Sécurité, et Madame Vera Songwe Directrice Régionale d’IFC.

The Burundian government discussed the National Action Plan on the Implementation of UNSCR 1325 at the meeting of the Council of Ministers. The document will be revised, and the Ministers will receive feedback by December 10th for its adoption. FAS has undertaken several training activities and studies to assist Burundi, Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in the design and implementation of the National Action Plan on UNCRS 1325.For information click here
